My rock Magazine              My Rock magazine is also consists of a black and white image and black and white theme, my rock magazine includes a legendary Rock and Roll star a member of the group called 'Aerosmith'. I chose to use him as he is a rock and roll icon. The reason why i chose my rock magazine to black and white is that black is the stereotypical colour which is linked with rock music. The black and white theme is not targeted a specific target market it's open to both males and female so if i was to use the colour pink or purple on the front cover it would exclude men from reading the magazine as these colours are sterotypically associated with females. I have used an image of Kid Rock on the cover in colour contrasting to the whole magazine, the reason for it being in colour is to make look eye catching and appealing and make sure it stands out from and magazine and hope the readers will buy the album. The font i have used fot the text on the cover is 'chiller' this font is bold and eye catching and gives the effect of calligraphy  and is unusual from what you noramlly see on magazines. The title of this magazine is 'EDGE' it is written in block capital letters to make it look improtant and central, the word 'EDGE' links in with the Rock music as it tends to be 'egdy' and wild.
